What are pre-folds?

Pre-folds are traditional rectangular diapers that have several layers of thickness (absorbancy). The can be secured with pins, Snappi Diaper Fasteners. Additoinally, they can be folded and placed directly in a snap or velcro diaper cover. Pre-folds are not water-proof; therefore, a diaper cover will need to be used. These diapers can also be used as burp cloths and cleaning rags.

Unbleached Indian Prefolds

These diapers are made of a twill weave which is a little heavier and more absorbent and durable than gauze used in "Chinese" prefolds. The material is washed prior to weaving to minimize shrinking. The finished diapers quilt up nicely, are very soft and durable, lint free and extremely absorbent.

They work well as inserts for pocket diapers too.
